Hey everybody,
I've actually been 1-game shy of having every Sega Master System game for a while. I never wanted to get the last game (Michael Jackson's Moonwalker) simply because I was so focused on NES and N64.
Well, a few weeks ago, my man y-bot pmed me and told me that he had a spare for sale. So I bought it from him and it arrived today!
I'm actually missing something like 30 manuals for it to be CIB. I'm sure I'll get them some day.

Here's a picture:

Heh. I'll actually probably be posting something similar to this soon; as I'm ridiculously close to completing my N64 collection.
Enjoy!

Nice work, I need seven myself and then I'll be there too. Are those all the US versions, or are the multi-region releases just the European versions? Even if they are, it's still an amazing accomplishment. Congrats!

What's the game in the red box? I thought all SMS game boxes were white?

Congratulations Will! I'm glad I could help. I was going to put a pencil inside your package but I forgot until after it was sealed up.

That's not a cut and dry answer...but generally, 114 US SMS games, not including packaging variants.

Congrats on the SMS collection. I'm currently working on a Genesis collection, I'm 28 games away. So maybe someday in the future I'll have a thread saying I've finally done it.

Congrats man!!!!

I'm more than halfway there (I was sold what I believed to be a complete set that's somewhere more around 80% a few years back) and I should devote some more energy towards completing that in the near future.

Nice collection, i never got a chance to play the master system but a few times, but it was a blast. Most of the local stores around us at that age mainly focused on nintendo and didn't really sell much SMS stuff :/

.. and hang-on, bank panic.

They're both Euro-only.

There's 7 US cards, 10 European (plus German-only & English-only variations) & 14 Japanese. And at least of couple of Korean MyCards too...

Oh right, somehow I missed the last part of Blitzwings message. But sitll, euro is where it's at when it comes to SMS.

Not too shabby. Others have the right idea thinking about PAL games, all up to you and I'm sure you've already or are comming close to deciding.

For all the people asking if I'm going to tackle PAL - Heh... I'm a US only kinda guy. (Aside from the fact that I live in Canada). :)

Wow, was SMS extra popular in Canada? Or, should I say ... as popular as it was in Europe and other regions vs. it's near-pathetic US retail run?

I don't think so. Not that it matters, though as I got 99% of the games for my SMS collection from people online. Heck, I got something like 75% of the library in one single blow off of Club Ninja. But that was years ago.
