Halo 3 - Questions

Hey Gang!!

Long time no post?! hope everyones keeping well.. So halo 3.. i'v ripped through most of halo 3 and have 600/1000 points

I have a few questions, is it possible to complete the game in "co-op" mode on legendary? to get the last 125G for completing the game? Also how many players can play in a campaign at the same time?

And if it is possible to complete in "Co-op" for the achievment points do both or all players get the 125G for finishing the game?

Ps. any help would be great thanks.. i haven't had a net connection for awhile, it seems like years have past.. :ass:

You can play through co-op with 4 people. If you complete it on legendary you will get the achievements for beating it on legendary, heroic, and normal. In order for every player to get the achievements all levels must be completed. So one person cannot just beat the last level on legendary and get the achievement.

Also something i meant to ask, i can't pick up the iron skull on the very first level, i'v tried all the difficulty settings from normal, heroic, and legendary and i pick it up on the rock near the water.. but get no 10G?

I'm just left to run around with some dead dudes noodle in my hand?

Am i missing something?

You can activate it if you go into campaign mode and press 'X'. Skulls add a multiplier to the scoring system, and have some effect.

For the Iron skull, if you die, you go back to the beginning, not the last checkpoint.

Otherwise, the last 200 or so achievement points have to be earned over Xbox Live. 5 grenade sticks in a match, triple kills, rank up to sergeant, etc.

To see which levels you've completed on which level, go into the campaign setup and it will show you under level selection. Unlike the first halo it only shows the highest level you've completed, but it does show a separate one for co-op. Ideally, you want to beat it on legendary once co-op and once alone. To get the legendary achievement, only one is required, and do make sure you start at the beginning of levels. Same goes for the skulls.

That's not the iron skull. That's one of the silver skulls with no achievement.

The iron skull is at the end of Sierra 117. It's located on the roof behind the building that Johnson is being held in. You can get access to it from some of the pipes back there.

A similar question -- I just completed the campaign on Heroic with a buddy -- he had achievements for all 9 missions, but didn't get the two for completing on normal and heroic like I did. Any ideas why?

We're about to restart on Legendary (hopefully with an online friend hopping in) so maybe it'll give him all of them after that. Then again, maybe not?

I didn't play a single second of the campaign without my friend playing with me. I got the acheivements but he didn't. Hmm. Maybe we should re-watch the opening video under his tag only?

You can check each level to see what difficulty it was beaten on. Do that.
