Symphony Of The Night & Suikoden.
Suikoden for me as well. I have been playing it since it first came out, and I love it just as much each time.

It amazes me that about half of us so far have mentioned Symphony Of The Night, yet we will probably never see a decent Castlevania on a home console ever again.

It saddens me that people are so quick to discredit the PS1 release of Akumajou Dracula along with the good 3d Castlevania games (Legacy of Darkness, Lament of Innocence and Curse of Darkness) simply because they're not Symphony of the Night or because they're in 3d. It's even more annoying when Chi no Rondo gets dumped on because it's too linear and not Symphony-ish enough (gee, I wonder why).
In reply to the OP, Half Life 2 and River City Ransom never seem to get old, regardless of how many times I've played through them (and in RCR's case, that's quite a few times).

Wave Race 64
I don't know why. The game is shallow and really not all that interesting, but something about the controls means that everytime I pop it in, I'm going to be tied to it for at least an hour or two.
A lot of N64 games seem to be this way for me, and I didn't even like the system much. Really, Super Mario 64, Starfox 64 and Super Smash Bros. could all fit in this category, too.

I wasn't referring to import titles. I do have to say though, I think the 3D Castlevanias were shit. I bought them, but ended up stacking them in my "never will play this piece of shit pile."

Akumajou Dracula was released in the US and EU. It got dogged for not being like Symphony of the Night. I couldn't imagine why it wasn't like SotN.
Your fun detector is broken if you think that the three good 3d Castlevania games are "shit", but then again if you're of that opinion then you'd probably enjoy Portrait of Ruin, which is to the 2d Castlevanias what Interstate 82 was to Interstate 76.

Lots of people are this way. I have heard so many people complain about, for example, the 3d Marios or Zeldas and how they aren't any good simply because they aren't the same as the originals. I have heard plenty of people say how terrible the Metroid Prime games are simply because they aren't 2d side scrollers.
I was talking to a guy here a few days ago and I was telling him about the Super Mario Galaxy and how its supposed to be awesome. He said he hasn't played a Mario game since the SNES days simply because they are 3D now and are ruined because of that O_O He also said the same thing about the Legend of Zelda series.
By the way, I'm not referring to anyone here.

My opinion of the 3D Castlevania games are just that, my opinion. I personally felt like the whole Castlevania formula was missing. To me the backgrounds were blah, and the fighting made me think I was playing something like Devil May Cry. To me it just didn't feel like Castlevania. If you liked it, great. We all have our own tastes in games. I like good ones, you like shitty ones... j/k I really do like a lot of other games that used to be side scrollers but turned 3D, Mario, Zelda, really great games then and still great. So anyway, there have probably been countless other threads about the good and bad of 3D Castlevanias, so lets get this thread back on topic...

hmm... So I'm probably the only one here who didn't really enjoy Symphony of the Night. It just felt too disjointed to me - too loosely designed to be as good as Super Metroid for example, yet at the same time too "RPGish" to be as enjoyable as Castlevania IV (my favorite Castlevania btw). It always felt like it couldn't decide what it wanted to be, and ended up on an uncomfortable middle ground that didn't do the franchise (or Konami's vision of SOTN) any justice. Still a great game, just greatly overrated in my opinion. Personally I found Dawn of Sorrow to be equally enjoyable, but still it didn't feel "right" to me for some reason.
heh....Sorry for going so off-topic there. To answer the question: even after playing it regularly for several years, I never get tired of Smash Bros Melee... Can't wait for brawl!!! :)

Warhawk.
Every time I log in for a matchup, I find myself figuring out new strategies to get multiple kills, capture the enemies flags more stealthily, or master the aerial acrobatics of the Warhawk planes more effectively.
And it's been as fun and fresh playing almost every day since it launched.
(The benefit of such a well-balanced weapon/vehicle/map mechanic.)
