Ok, I've seen 3 of these at local thrift stores the past couple of years (the most recent sighting was last week). And every time I saw one, I passed it up becuase they didn't look like they were compatible with my NES. The ones I've always seen in the wild had SCSI/MIDI ports. I never saw any cords with them that looked like they'd fit into a controller port on a NES deck. Were all these keyboards built exactlly the same on all platforms (NES/PC/Genesis/SNES) and they just needed cord adaptors to make them compatible with the systems? I'll be really pissed with myself if that is the case.

Also, has anyone here actually used the Maricle to lean piano? Most items like this would usually sit in my collection gathering dust, but I've been trying to teach myself piano the past couple of months and am wondering how useful it is.

i just saw one today for the first time. it was just the keyboard so i passed it up for $10. i kinda want to pick it up, but i have no idea how it hooks up to the nes. it's bare with no accessories, and if i was to pick it up is there enough pieces going around to make it work?

Fom my understanding, ther is a cord that goes from the keyboard to the NES. They are usually missing from the average Ebay auction.

I think that there are only different cords for the different systems, but i am really not sure. Ive been looking for the genesis one.

AFAIK the keyboards are all the same. Only the carts and cords are different. I think if you bought for say the NES you could buy the kit to hook it to another system
