This idea just popped into my head. I WISH(please come true) that there were an accessory available that you could hook your GBA to your PC, and then play GBA multiplayer games online with others. Or basically, just a device that allowed you to connect other GBA's over the phone for multiplay, it wouldn't necessarily have to run thru the PC.

There are (were?) plans to make the gba a Cell Phone. Not sure if that's been scrapped yet though.

There's the Cell Phone adapter which was never released in the US. It was originally designed for the GBC, but it works with the GBA as well. Maybe one of our Japanese members can clarify how it works.

Wouldn't you rather play online games for Xbox,PS2,or Gamecube?I mean, who really wants to play online GBA,it would lag,the graphics suck and it is on such a small screen.

Actually, the graphics in some puzzle games are so simple, that there would probably be a lot less lag on a gba game than a console game. I assure you, a phone line can handle gameboy graphics MUCH easier than madden 2003 :)

Yeah, this was my thought as well. It wouldn't take much to transfer GBA data thru the phone. Also, another reason I would like to see GBA online is because the games are so outdated that there would be no precedent to charge a monthly fee for service. Nintendo already doesn't believe in online play for the Gamecube, so I would hope a third party could design a device to hook the GBA up to a phoneline. If there is a cell phone attachment, then there is the possibility for online/portable multiplay which is a really cool idea.

I really like this idea, especially since 4 swords involves having 4 friends who actually play games. Except, I would keep it as a computer network connection so it could work through broadband. Do people still use phones to connect to the internet? :-D
