Do these hold any value? I saw one at my local pawnshop, and thought it might be worth picking up. I haven't seen one in a LONG time. They're official Nintendo ones, BTW.

Don't know the value but production of the USA release of the "Spice" controllers stopped a shortly after the USA GameCube launch. Of course this is because Nintendo was STUPID and didn't release the Spice GC's in the USA.

That might be regional, i can still pick them up at the local grocery store new. I could never figure out why they brought over the controller, but left out the kick-ass system to go with it.

I am still bitter over the lack of a spice cube in the states. If I ever get an import that will definetely be the color I get.

I think $15-20 is the average price, but then again, that's about the average price for any first party controller.

The orange GC color is freakin' awesome. I finally imported mine a few months back. Ever since I saw the controller I had to pick one up for some stupid reason. I picked up the GBA player from PlayAsia before they became something hard to find.

I bought that color controller a while back and had always wondered why they never came out with a system to match the controller but all the other colors went with a certain system. Weird, but I doubt the controller would be worth that much more than a regular one.

Nintendo did a lot of wierd things at Gamecube launch, I have a top half purple and buttom half clear GC controller. No real reason to do that either.
