Why do simple games like Mega Man Anniversary Collection & Sonic Mega Collection Plus require a Dual Shock for, and I'm playing Sega Classic Collection..I was playing Out Run on the Dual Shock 1 but V.R requiers the Dual Shock 2, Why is that
Dual Shock 2 controllers have analog buttons which detect how hard/far you push any of the buttons. Dual Shock 1 controllers do not!

Mega Man Anniversary Collection & Sonic Mega Collection Plus only used a d-pad in there games..

The D-Pad is considered a button as well.

On the dual shock 2 the buttons are analog as well. I don't know how that functionality is used in the games you are talking about though.

OMG..I could play Out Run with my PS2 Saturn Pad...But I have to unplug it to put the dual shock in for V.R..Just Wow
