The newest game I know of that included 3D glasses was Heart of Darkness for the Playstation, it was released 9/01/1998.

Yup, that's my guess as to the most recent game released with them.

Time Traveler came with 3-D glasses but it wasn't an actual console release, just a dvd port of the game.

Only on Ebay - most every game available for sale there is 'rare' (at least according to the sellers :)).

All three PS2 Sly games went 'Greatest Hits'.

Didn't Glory Days 2, released a few months ago on the DS, come with 3D glasses? I must admit, I only played the game on my flash cart, though I liked it and it's on my list of games to buy...some day. It's supposed to use a different sort of 3D, not the traditional red/blue shift, but some sort of polarized effect so that the game looks totally normal without the glasses, but gets added depth with them.

...word is bondage...

Isn't that the way 3-D Worldrunner was for NES?

I don't think so. If you press Select, everything turns red/blue.

Oh, ok. I never pressed select when I played it--I thought somehow the 3-D was built into its natural state.

Since were on the topic of 3-D games here, what was that game that came out for the NES, it used that weird 3-D effect where one side of the glasses was shaded very dark, and the other eye was just a plain plastic lens.

I think it was called "Orb" or something to that nature.... And why did they thik that 3-D process actually worked? They tried it in the 1989 Super Bowl halftime show, and it didn't work at all.. I noticed no sense of depth.

Yup, Orb 3D.
