Anyone familiar with this light gun

I am not sure what company made it.

It has a manual reload button
Guncon on/off button
start button
and a switch for settings: normal ,auto reload and auto fire reload
Special weapon button on the top where you would cock the gun

no other marking to tell me the maker.

I bought it because I was surprised to see a gun that looks so real

it probably came from one of those pirate NES/fami sets you sometimes see at flea markets or on ebay. being pirates they are not too concerned about adding an orange tip to the gun.

it plugs into the yellow AV slot on your TV and it has a female end for the PS2 to plug into , so basically the gun and PS2 are going into the same yellow AV in the back of the TV

Also I am sorry at the bottom of the picture (cut off ) is the part that looks like the end of a PSX controller that goes into the PSX controller slot. I will take another picture of it

It's certainly a PlayStation gun. Supports GunCon I mode by virtue of the composite video tap so it can synchronize with the video. Probably has a switch for Konami "Justifier" non-synchonized mode as well.

Who sold it and who built it are the real questions, both hard to answer. It's too close to a real gun for American retailers.

Factory wise, take your pick out of about 2 dozen.

Honeybee Electronics
Alfa Data
Sinar Industries
Savia Ltd
Storm Electronics

The list is almost endless.....

I think that's a Blaze product. When I worked at EB, we had one of these... small piece of doo that is.

I have the exact gun but it's silver with a camouflage grip. It's a nicel little lightgun. Don't remember the maker, sorry.

It's a "Scorpion" light gun, made by Blaze. The camo variety is called the "Panther". it's a best selling gun for some reason. The one I used to have worked with Saturn and Playstation.
