I'm looking for a specific website that I remember well, with the exception of the address itself. The website was that of an artist who had made vector-drawn silhouettes of almost every video game console. The pictures weren't in color, and only showed the outline of the console, and any lines/features/text/graphics on the system.

The guy also had a bunch of excellent video game icons in PNG format. I had saved them a long time ago and still have them... he had even made stuff for obscure systems like the X68000, GP32, Amstrad, etc.

All my web searches have come up empty. I seem to remember the site was named after the artist himself... not his real name, but a handle he used. Anyone know the site I'm talking about?

i dont think ive ever been to the artists site but this conjures images of the graphics used to display what games a console was for in a slightly older gaming magazine either egm or protips i forget which ill have to drag some copies out but they had obscure consoles drawn up too.

I FUCKING FOUND IT!!

http://www.antiriad.com/

Unfortunately, the guy seems to have thrown in the towel. The vector-drawn systems are still there, but that's about it. I can't seem to find the icons that he had there before unfortunately...

Well, thanks to the Wayback Machine, here's a look at some of the icons he had anyways:

Unfortunately, the Wayback Machine totally failed to archive the actual zip file that the icons were in. Anyone got a mirror or something?

On the page, he has a link to a site where you can search for all the logos... and they do come up. They're all in EPS format.

That's the sad thing with websites, fansites more in general. They always seem to die off. Very few stand the test of time.
