I'm terrible at carving and can't convince my father who is pretty good at it to try and do anything to complicated this year (wanted to do warcraft patterns)

The link is 404. Too bad :( I remember some awesome entries in that contest. The bat on-the-wall Castlevania one, Death Pumpkinstar and the Katamari ones stuck out the most, to me anyways. :) I did two of em in that contest. DK and the LoI cover-art. Should give it another go some year 'cause it was fun.
