I have a couple doors that I can't get to work... anyone good at Build? I could email my level to you!

man, I used to use Build all the time, but that was years ago. All I can say is make sure that "o" trigger sprite is set to the right properties

Yah I have the sector's lotag right so it should work... no idea.

For anyone who wants to play Duke3d or use Build in Windows XP download the Duke3D HRP (http://hrp.duke4.net/) All you need is the .grp file off your original CD and you can play Duke at high res settings on XP! It comes with Mapster32, the new build too!

Hmm if itīs a swinging door make sure itīs a loose sector (not connected to any other).

No, standard Doom door! That's why I can't figure out why it doesn't work.

A sector lo-tag of 20, an S on the floor, an M for the soundeffect..ah those good old Build days.

I do have the sector lotag as 20 and the M (lotag 167 I believe) for the sound. No S though, didn't think that was necessary for a Doom-style door?

I used to use build all the time. I had the handbook and everything. In fact, I was a part of an Evil Dead TC that was going to be put out. Some fellow I knew designed all the levels, and it was fan fucking tastic.

Yah, I dug out my Duke3d build book and I am doing it right...

Anyone still have Build or the new free Mapster32 for XP and want to take a look at my map?

Build gives me nightmares...

It has some ingenious work-arounds to some problems that never should have existed in the first place.
