i have read in the wiki that this is rare now.
the non-rumble ver.
is it really that rare and what do the sell for?

originally i found this when searching for psx games that require an analog controller.
to play. i was looking to port some of my fav psx games to my psp but that does not have 2
analog sticks....

Depends on what you count as 'rare'? These were superseded by the DualShock very quickly, but they still had many, many thousand units produced. It was also released worldwide, so it's not just a quirky Japanese only release.

Unless you get the Japan only black Dual Analog with rumble/force feedback. ;)

Rare, I wouldn't say that, but you don't see them often at all, and when you do they're usually pretty cheap. I was lucky to catch mine on ebay, after sifting through at least 20 pages of DualShocks.

I have one that I got for Christmas in '97. I still have the big box that it came in too. I never really thought about it, but mine is the only one I have ever seen outside of stores circa 10 years ago.

I bought one thinking it was worth money.

It wasn't. :P

It's a neat thing to have if you don't like rumble, but eh. I'll stick to my PSOne Dual Shock.
