View Full Version : New Crazy Taxy spinoff game?
Around 7-10 months ago, I remember reading in Nintendo Power about a game coming for the Wii that's just like Crazy Taxi, but you drive an ambulence. Not sure if it's an official spinoff or a ripoff, but from what I read it's the same concept. Looked cool. What's it called? I really don't wanna have to dig through old NP issues, as I'm not sure which issue it was even in. Someone help. :)

if it was made by sega than it would be emergency call ambulance.i hope what you are saying is true,i always loved playing it in the arcades.since you are riding someone around on the way to the hospital ,if you end up losing the person yells'"i dont want to die!"

It does sound a bit like Sega's Emergency Call Ambulance. It was supposed to come out on the Dreamcast... But I never heard mouch about it, after Crazy Taxi's 1 & 2 got all the attention.

Yes I would be into that too. Big Crazy Taxi fan. I'm trying so hard to like it on the PSP, but all it does is make me wish I was playing my Dreamcast. Unfortunately I can't play my DC in bed.

You're probably thinking of Emergency Mayhem (http://www.gamespot.com/wii/driving/emergencymayhem/index.html), though if it plays anything Emergency Call Ambulance then I'm totally there. I loved ECA in the arcades way back when and was pretty damn happy to find a local arcade that not only had that, but also had Scud Race. God, I wish those games would get Sega Ages releases.

Looks like it was Emergency Meyhem. I was mistaken, it wasn't an ambulance. After seeing the fire engine, that's what I saw in Nintendo Power 8-10 months ago. Looks like ther hasn't been any new info on this game since May. Hope it hasn't been canned. :(
