I just got mine up and running today, didn't have any journey so I put in AC/DC Back in Black on it instead. I think I like it better this way. LOL

I think you should play Steve Perry solo work:

Yeah, him screaming "oh Sherry" would be delightful. ROFL
Thanks for the suggestion Chris.

I can almost guarantee you, if it were my machine it would have a tape of me singing Journey songs in there, as off key as possible.

Make a tape of the VCS "music" and use that.

Leads you to wonder how many of those tapes that are used in the game, are still around today...

Have they ever integrated mp3s of the music into the MAME version? (via sound samples?)

Actually, they have; the sample set I have just contains a 3-minute section of "Seperate Ways" (in a .wav format). Did the cassette tape have other songs besides this one?

No. It is just a looped tape of Seperate Ways (worlds apart). The original tape player was gone, so I had to buy a new one. Got lucky and found a nice Sony one on amazon.com. I've just been playing around with it with different tapes. Maybe I'll put Ozzy in there next.

I play "Stand By Your Man" (Patsy Cline) on mine. Goes over big with the kids.
