FF:Origins, Inu Yasha, and DBZ:Ultimate Battle 22.
I got the first 2, but DBZ has just vanished around here, so i can't find one. And the only place that does have it is a local store and he wants $40 ( :o What the fuck) for it.

Actually, I just got The Three Stooges for PSOne, and that will be the last "new" PS title I get. I loved the C64 version, so I'm looking forward to many hours of eye-pokin' madness.

They made a Inu Yasha game for the PSX? What kind of a game is it? I haven't seen it around here at all or I would have picked it up.

Inu Yasha is a fighting game. At least that is what the back cover looks like. I haven't heard anything good about it of DBZ though. Everyone has their opinions though.

I've got 'em all, actually I've been pre-ordering EVERY PS1 title for the past year. Most of it has been junk with the exception of these three, The Italian Job, and the two Natsume games Gek-i-oh and Turnabout.

FF Origins is a definite for me.
Inuyasha's a fighting game- it's supposed to be like Ranma 1/2 hard Battle for the SNES but somewhat better.

May I ask why? You can't possibly have enough free time to play them all, and at the level of games you're talking about, few of these will ever be that rare... certainly not so rare they're impossible to get later. I'm not saying it's a bad thing to do, but that's got to be a LOT of money every week on games you couldn't be playing...

We can and will play them all. It's what we do. :-D

Who knows how many of 'em will be rare in the future? Still, that's not entirely the point -- they're NEW, they're inexpensive, and they're available. If history has taught us anything, it's better to scarf 'em up now and ask questions later. I'd rather pick up a so-so game new for $5 today than spend years chasing it down for ten times that. But I'm lazy. 8-)

I must have horrific finding skills, then, as I rarely see any games for any systems at $5. Hell, the cheapest I ever see are the really crappy ps1 games (a system I don't even have) for $10-15 at a Target or BJ's.

Well I understand the collecting impulse, and I think DP is buying the games just cuz a) he can and b) it's really cool to have all the PSX games, history has shown that it's basically never worth buying games new in the hope of saving money later.
Witness the NES: Even complete, I would say there's no more than 20 games that are worth more now than what they cost when they came out. For PSX, there's maybe 10. There's not a single one for the Dreamcast, 1 or 2 for the 64, and maybe 5 for the Saturn. Genesis has only a few, SNES the same.
Even assuming you kept the games sealed, I still think there's only 50 or so NES games that would be worth more than 50 bucks in your average sale/auction.
Now, I think there's definitely a "sweet spot" for when to buy games. For the DC, that's right now. For the PSX, it should be this and next year. Buying games during the sweet spot is the best time to save money at, not when the games are still new.

I know, dammit, but I can't find ANY dc games! The only place I can find them at is Gamespot and they still want freakin' $15 a pop for BADLY used games. It's like they only buy back the worst condition items and then hand back the pristine stuff and say "sorry, these look like they actually work, not interested".
Where does one get the clearance DC games now?

As deathly low-priced as the PlayStation and its games are right now, I'm dubious about these being the last major PSone releases. Heck, it wouldn't surprise me if Square put a Final Fantasy III remake out for the PSone just to get most of the franchise on the system (and no, Mystic Quest doesn't count and never will), or if Bandai reissued Dragon Ball GT Final Bout, which still seems to be in high demand.
And yeah, Final Fantasy Origins is worth thirty bucks and more. I don't know about Inuyasha or DBZ: UB22, but I might pick them up for the website's sake.

None of the newest games interest me at all...
Now Sniderman...where did you find the Three Stooges game? I went about 10 places, and couldn't find it...

Please, somebody tell me just which one of the last new releases are really any good to play. FFOrigins sounds like a great piece to pick up, but what about any of the others?

Scooter, Chad...both cheap DC games and 3 Stooges are widely available on the bay. While some used games are ripoffs on ebay, most newer games tend to be cheaper on ebay than in the wild. The vast majority of DC games can be had for 10$ or less, with very few costing more than 20$. Three stooges can be had today for 15 on the bay.
Chad...I'm lucky that back in my hometown, there's a lot of used game stores. But one good place to look for DC is pawn shops, which are everywhere. You can get most games for under 10 there, at least in my area.

Whew, thats a serious understatement. In sealed condition I would say that roughly half of the NES library is worth 50+ or at least close to it.
I do agree, though, that buying games "new" is a bad investment.

Inu Yasha is very basic. Its a fighter and its kind of cool. As a stand alone fighter it's kind of ho-hum, if you did the manga/anime, its pretty cool.
It does have a tag feature, but you have to wait for the character to load each time, and while it only take a few seconds, in the middle of a fight, that is a LONG few seconds.
I played DBZ along time ago on import, and i liked it. Of course, I have a minor soft spot for DBZ so don't take my opinion on it.
Hey joe, how is Turnabout. I keep meaning to pick it up every time i see it at Besy Buy but i never do. Is it any good. Also there is some new Dancing game that popped up, its done in sprites, so i'm ight pick it up cause I love rythme games.

Your best bet is eBay. Strangely, 3 Stooges is a Sam's Club/Costco exclusive! IT's not available at any other location. (Cinemaware must've cut some deal with them....) Also, I heard there was a Pink Panther game just released for the PSX too.... Here's a link to a description:
