Hey everyone, how's it going?
I'm having a little pickle here. For the life of me I can't remember the name of this video game show that came out in like the mid 90's. I know it was not Nick Arcade but it was similar. Their was teams and they had to enter this maze of obstacles and they would enter a room with a tv screen that had a character talk to them and offer them advice to move on. That's about all I can remember, I could be mixing shows up or something but I'm pretty sure it was a video game show. Thanks guys and gals, any help would be greatly appreciated. Have a great night.

This wasn't one of the games from the often forgotten Nickelodeon show Total Panic was it? Greg Lee truly was the greatest kid's game show host. Anyway, Total Panic kicked ass, it was basically a three hour Sunday morning video game variety show. There are some YouTube clips from the show but if anyone has complete episodes or a good online resource for it, please let me know! Games were reviewed and previewed and of course played by the audience. It also featured the same bluescreen stuff that Nick Arcade used.

I think it was more like an actual game show. Kids would have to run around and collect tickets, and then at the end they would sort through the prizes that they got. The holy grail prize was the neo geo, which I was always envious of. I used to catch the end of this show right before I went to school.

That's Video Power if I remember correctly but I think the OP is remembering something different.
"Masters of the Maze," with host Mario Lopez?

Sounds sort of like the British show, The Crystal Maze.

Nope, it wasn't Total Panic, however thank you kindly for the three awesome clips, I never knew that show existed, then again I was 4 years old in 1989 lol. This show kinda reminded me of a very very early X-Play. That's bad ass thanks again for those clips.

"Masters of the Maze," with host Mario Lopez?
Holly shit! Thanks man, that's it. The team member guided the other team member with a Joystick that controlled the members suit and guided him/her through the maze. They had two different hosts, J.D. Roth and Mario Lopez and the show made some changes when Lopez came on board. Wow, I can't believe I finally found the answer to that, it has been haunting me forever the name of that show lol. Thanks Amos and everyone for researching. You all rock!

These are nice "Panic video"'s. I never seen the converter released for the genesis to play Master System games. I guess it was pulled.

Nay, Mr. Posts-Everything-in-Bold, the Power Base converter is very well-known.
