I'm not entirely sure what happened with the whole Vast project, but there's a new 'Memory Card Mod-chip' called Memor 32 (http://ps2emu.dcemu.co.uk/memor-32-modchip-on-a-memory-card-released-78713.html).
Looks pretty real to me. So then, Hokuto no Ken anyone?

That thing is crazy over priced and the whole exploit is probably just a hoax to sell these things.

Memor 32 sounds like a bad Chinese rip-off memory card. They should've thought up a better name.

67 bucks?! Are they out of their mind? You can get a 32 MB third party card for 15!
Edit:
Hey, why is it that we don't even have a memory card reader for PCs? I mean, we had the DexDrive back in the day. So why hasn't there been one for the PS2 in all these years?

Actually, when first hearing the name I thought it was some sort of first generation disc based system inside a robotic cat.
Still, I hope this works; I want one.

That's a really good point. I thought those memory cards were based on magicgate technology, so porting it shouldn't be TOO difficult for the hackers...
