Does anybody know if there is are stand alone versions of the sega cd games "3 Ninjas Kick Back" and "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein"?? Or were these two games just bonus games for the combo pack versions and never released individually?

I know that the online rarity guide shows them only as combo packs, however I found a picture of what appears to be the front inlay of a stand alone version of 3 Ninjas. I couldn't find such an image for Frankenstein.

Thanks in advance.

To my knowledge they weren't. What you've found there is actually a scan of the 3 Ninjas manual.

The 3 Ninjas/Hook includes:
1 Hook manual (identical to the original boxed version of hook's manual, ye olde sega cd logo and all)
1 3 Ninjas manual (just like the one above)
1 thin cardboard inlay with the dual 3 Ninjas/Hook artwork.

So if you ever see one with what appears to be 3 Ninjas by itself chances are it is either missing the dual artwork inlay or it has just been shuffled around so the 3 Ninjas manual is up front.

Also, the same is NOT true for the Dracula/Frankenstein combo. That version contains 2 manuals as well, but no additional artwork inlay. The manual cover for Dracula is as normal, but Frankenstein's manual has the dual artwork on it's cover.
