It was posted on digg a couple of days ago. 20% off coupon for any one item in the store. Supposedly some stores were accepting it, and some weren't. I have a Kmart very close to my work, wanted an xbox360 for rockband, so I figured whatnot.

I got there and I went over to the electronics area. I asked the lady there if they were accepting the 20% off coupons, and it was all a go. The print out I had had two coupons printed on it, so I gave one to the guy in line in front of me buying Super Mario Galaxy. When it was my turn to pay I whipped out my remaining coupon only to find out it had different dates on it than the coupon I gave away. I had to quickly run back to work and print out another coupon since the lady that said she'd accept it was off of work in a few minutes. I made record time and walked out of there with an xbox 360 premium for less than 300 dollars including tax.

i had already bought guitar hero 3 for the wii since i didn't think i would be getting rockband anytime soon. luckily i got it at walmart and they have very lax return terms. i was able to return it after the desk lady consulted with the manager. "you're lucky, he's new" is what she told me. either way, i will now be able to use that money towards rockband. awesome.

here's the info on digg if you're interested. (http://digg.com/playstation_3/PS3_for_319_at_K_Mart)

Did you use a copy of the original or the original. They are not suppose to be accepted if they are copies but many employees dont know or dont seem to care.

I checked the pharmacy, they didn't have any there. I just used the one I printed off the internet. She must have already known about them, she didn't hesitate when I asked if it was ok.

I was the first guy at my store (KMART) to get one of these coupons (I work electronics) anyway I went ahead and took it and still do but my managers and other employees don't wanna do it I've heard that they have a way out of accepting it (copies or something, fine print) all I know is it works on my register and it makes fellow poor gamers happy :)

I think it says in the fine print right on the coupon that copies aren't acceptable. Then again, who reads the fine print?! If it scans, it scans.

Yup, the coupon does say "Void if copied."

If they don't take it, you really can't raise much of a stink, but if they do, more power to you. I personally don't want to take the gamble as it's quite a drive for me to get to a kmart.

I'm printing them out right now and I'm going to go give it a shot. Its one of those BIG K-mart shops where its a bit bigger than your average K-Mart. Hopefully it will work because I will be buying new vids and x-mas presents this week.

If it's any help to anyone, the Kmart I went to and succeeded in using the coupon at was a very crappy older one. I think Sears owns some of the stores now, and there is a Sears hardware store attached to this Kmart, so I'm going to assume this is one of the stores owned by Sears. Things to take into consideration.

Actually I believe it's K-mart that owns Sears.

printed out the coupons and they told me they won't take coupons from online, in case that helps make anyones decision in driving far away to go to a K-Mart.
