Got Conker's Bad Fur Day (N64) today for $24.95 AUS brand new. It was on a throw out table and I thought I'd grab it. I think it's a bargain considering the game went for about $120 AUS when released in 2001.
Plus it's also nice to get a brand new game after so long. I'd forgotten what it's like! The box, the manual, the related paraphernalia and best of all - no cleaning!

And there was still about 40 common loose INTV titles for .29 each at the 27th and College Salvation Army. Going to my half-price on Wednesday thrift tomorrow.

Are you talking about the Salvation Army on Euclid Ave. near E.55? It's like I was saying in the other thread. Cleveland seems to be mostly BONE DRY. I just gotta get more persistent, I guess.

Actually, I'm talking about the one in strongsville on pearl, and I might as well be toalking about the goodwill on w. bagley in berea too. I've never seen a single game at either of them.
Man, I can't wait for garage sale season.....and I gotta find some flea markets too....

I must brag a bit of an unearthly find here in KY. I found a box of 3DO and Intellivision games in the back of an antique store, underneath some quilts my mom was looking at. Nothing rare as far as Intv. games go, but I did manage to snag Vol. 1-3 of the 3DO Woody Woodpecker series and a few of the Vivid adult titles...all for $10, including the Intv. stuff. This never happens to me, and probably never will again. My 15 minutes of fame are shot. The lady that sold the stuff to me said she couldn't give it away for years and finally just stuffed it under some junk and forgot about it. O_O

I sometimes do some thrifting in Cleveland and usually find overpriced common NES games. What was your guys best thrift store find in and around Cleveland? I found a 3D0 flight stick for $1. They probably thought it was a computer joystick. Anything marked Atari or Nintendo is way overpriced.

ps. Do you guys have a secret spot? hehe

You guys are doing all right. The best way to do it is to stay persistant. I work odd hours and don't get much time to get out. The other day at the Music "Ripoff" Recyclery in Gurnee Mills mall I found Pooyan, Shark Attack, and Trick Shot for a buck each and Magic Carpet for the PSX for $7. Not great but good stuff for cheap.

TurboExpress for under $80 = great deal. However, if some of the pixels are dead that really kills the value for me personally. I can't deal with that!
I didn't do any hunting this week, though I had a terrible negative vibe when I passed up a Goodwill in Jersey City yesterday.

Today's finds:
Duke Nukem 64 - $2.50 loose
Lego Racers (64) - $1.00 loose
Desert Commander (NES) - $2.50 loose
They had a ton of games dirt cheap that I would love to pick up if I had the money. They're kind of a weird store... they have a lot of games priced from fifty cents to five bucks, but then they'll price a PS1 game that went for $10 new at $15 used. My best finds there have been Raiden Project for $2.50 and FF Tactics original cover for $5.

That's $15 games for $20... how did you manage that one? Even with the sale I'm not getting any of them for ~$1 each... or is it that the gamespot here just has a tremendously crappy selection?

Unreal was $8 and the rest were $4 each. Electronics Boutique. They were a few I didn't bother to buy before. This is the cheapest I have seen them around here.
