"Nintendo announced the remake of Mother 1 + 2 for GameBoy Advance, both titles are scheduled to release in Japan on June 20, for 4800 yen. In addition, the previously canceled N64 game Mother 3 is likely to re-appear on GameBoy Advance in the future. (Note: Mother 2 is known as Earthbound for SNES in North America)"
I know that there are a lot of RPG fans out there. Maybe someone will port it to English and release it to the US? Nintendo is quite good with their record of bringing stuff here, so here's hoping.

I'd say having Earthbound 0 released on gba is perfectly fine by me. Now it just needs to get released stateside...

Not even a graphical overhaul? No wonder Nintendo hates those flash carts so much.. just use the NES emu. :D
I wish that Nintendo would make more new games instead of just releasing old ones that I've already beaten. Oh well, I still hope this one comes to the US. I've been waiting to play Earthbound on my GBA. I just wish that they would "remaster" it like Square, I mean Square-Enix, did on the recent Final Fantasy 1 and 2 release.

well I'm excited...the fact that they're even releasing any earthbound game is good news...maybe we'll get a new earthbound.

Watch the commerical here,http://starmen.net/,it says at the end that Mother 3 is being made for GBA.Now to pray for it to come here. :)

I guess I don't mind this time, since I missed the Earthbound series completely. Granted, there are too many SNES games on the Advance, but I would be unhappy if Zelda 3, Mario World, and Yoshi's Island weren't ported. And there actually are a number of great original games if you dig around a bit. Personally, I'm really starting to dig this handheld.
Now if we could only get a new Mario game (not bloody likely)....

WTF? why not FINISH the 90% done mother 3, clean it up and polish it (like animal crossing's upgrade from the N64 version) and release it for the game starved game cube? this way they could also do both mother and mother 2 as a bonus disc like zelda (which will no doubt ALSO get screwed up in the pre-order distribution process, lol). nintendo is relying WAY too much on the GBA to do what the cube should be doing (or at least be somewhat close to the handheld as far as sales go)... :hmm:
