From Kotaku.com (http://kotaku.com/gaming/operation-darkness/atlus-comes-to-the-xbox-360-323963.php)

Publisher Atlus has joined the ranks of third-party publishers bringing Xbox 360 games to North America, announcing today the localization of Operation Darkness and Spectral Force 3. Largely known for the North American publishing of games like Odin Sphere, Persona and the Trauma Center series, the company's first two titles are a pair of tactical RPGs already released in Japan. Operation Darkness sees players take on a supernatural Adolf Hitler in an alternate universe World War II and Spectral Force 3 involves a fantasy world embroiled in the Great Neverland War. Teaser sites for both Operation Darkness (http://www.atlus.com/operationdarkness/) at Spectral Force 3 (http://www.atlus.com/spectralforce3/) are now up at the official Atlus site.

Hah, the premise for Operation Darkness is awesome. It's coolness goes down a notch or two for the generic anime designs, though.

Both sound interesting, and it's always good to see the 360 get more support from Japanese developers. I know I'll be getting one for Infinite Undiscovery, so I'll need all the games I can get to justify the purchase. :P

Yay!!!!!!

...although I'd be happier if thy weren't tactical games. But still this is good news for the 360.

Good to see some diversity... maybe now people can stop complaining that there are too many FPS games on the 360

I think it's great! I wonder how long until we see NIS or other Japanese publishers. I'm crossing my fingers....

absolutely. this could be THE ps3 killing move. i have nothing against the ps3, in fact i really really want one, a 60gb model mostly to upconvert my ps1 and ps2 games, and for the occasional ps3 exclusive ill actually care about, but for me, i much prefer the 360, i love the interface, and the controller.

Vic Ireland was suppose to be localizing 360 games under a new company. But who knows if it will ever actually happen.

I am laughing at my one friend who is totally gay for Atlus, but despises the 360. Talk about a dilemma. PS3 doesn't have all hope lost for it, there is still Valkyrie of the Battlefield coming out, which is going to be the game that makes me buy a PS3.

Isn't that SEGA? Who knows, maybe we'll see a port? ;)

Atlus games on any system is a good thing to me. This doesn't mean that Atlus is developing exclusively for 360 though does it? I wanna see original games made by them on all platforms. Lets see Atlus make a sports game too while we're at it ha ha.

Atlus has always been multi-platform, and technically, they have published sports games, more or less.

They aren't developing for the 360 period, at least so far. Most of Atlus's business is just publishing games developed by other companies, like these 360 games which have already been released in Japan. Atlus USA just decided to pick them up for localization.

I for one, hope it never happens.

Victor Ireland should never be allowed to "localize" anything ever again.

On-Topic: Yay Operation Darkness! I'm super-stoked about that one. :)
