Gooddealgames is, apparently, selling cartridge versions of this game, or soon will be.

Since I cannot get a proper emulator running on these computers (big surprise), has anyone actually played this game? How many enemies are there? Ground enemies? How does it compare to Xevious? And what is the "Boss Enemy" like?

I've was finally able to send newcoleco $30.00 for ColecoVision Bejeweled (soon to be reviewed, too!). If Cosmo Fighter 3 is any good, I might consider it.

Have you tried MEKA? You should.
Whoa, this new version of Cosmo Fighter III looks a lot better than the demos I've played. Is it available in ROM format?

MEKA- no go, I'm afraid.

Have you played the game? If so, what's it like?

I don't think I've played part 3. I've briefly played Cosmo Fighter and the Super Version(?) and was not impressed. It seemed to play way to fast and was very hard. IIRC it was like the game Astrosmash for INTV. What computers do you have that you can't get emu's running on them? What speed, OS etc.?

Library computers with "restrictions" on them. Until recently, some of them couldn't even handle this website properly.

Guess you 've got buy a computer or a DC or Xbox before you can emulate. I've seen websites that had CV emulators written in Java. All you had to do was go to the website and wait for the webpage to load the Java program. You don't need to do anything.

The only ROM available to test Cosmo Fighter 3 is available at Marcel de Kogel's web site.

http://www.komkon.org/~dekogel/cosmo3.html

It's a demo but it's fully playable. In fact, the game engine was done in 1998 but without the BIG BOSS to kill. I suppose the final version is ready and may was done in 2001-2002 (the years when Good Deal Games talked about releasing Cosmo Fighter 3 for the first time).

I didn't have any news from Marcel de Kogel, I don't know if he's going well or not.
