I just got this from GameReproductions.com about 2 months ago. For whatever reason, I always seem to loose my saves! It's not due to the battery as it usually happens when the cartridge turns on incorrectly and then looses the save. Just now, I turned on my NES and my controller wasn't plugged in all the way resulting in the down button the be pressed. I restarted the game with the power button and my fucking file was gone! This is frustrating because this is the 2nd time it's happened! I was about 3 or 4 hours into the game! ARG! I don't think I have the energy to try this again, and it's a shame because I was having some motha fuckin fun.
ppppssss. happy thanxxxgiving (triple x for dem naughty hoes out dere suckin da dick)

If the repro cart handles saves similar to Dragon Warrior, you may need to hold down the reset button while powering off the NES to avoid losing the save file.

Okay, that site is something I've been looking for.
Now, I have to wonder...how many of those games are translation hacks and not just the Japanese ROM? I've always wanted to play Dragons of Flame in English, but I never could patch it correctly...
**EDIT**: Oh. It's amazing how actually READING the information is so helpful! Guess that answers my question.

So, ummm, don't ever turn your NES off. That's the man's way to play an RPG with a bad save feature.

You could try not taking the game out and that way the game should work flawlessly, this works well if you have a top loader.

What fuckin Karma? I'm just tryin to rock the g spot. In any case, I started playing again. It's just touchy if you accidently press the power and it flashes real quick. In that scenario, chances are you've lost your save.
