new zelda ds bundle [Archive] - Retrogaming Roundtable

I got caught up in the black friday rush and picked up the zelda ds +shitty zelda ds game bundle thinking it was a very limited release.

I was thinking it was a target exclusive and going to be impossible to find after the black friday, however on the box I don't see any specifc target exclusivity marks, I paid about 150 for it and am not totally in love with it, but also don't want ot return it if its going to be super limited, does anyone know if other stores are recieving it or if it is a target exclsuive or not?

we sold out of it within like 30 minutes, I only got this one because it was in our "gobacks" and I happened to check the cart right before my lunch ;-)

any info would be great.

It's not a Target Exclusive.
Wal-Mart sells them.

I've heard and read about it being sold at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Gamestop, Circuit City, Amazon.com, and Game Crazy.

We sold these at my TRU store, too.

Well, if you don't want the "shitty" Zelda game (I loved it, but that's another topic), I've heard a few rumblings that the Triforce branded DS will be sold as a separate SKU early next year, after the holidays.
I was also going to suggest possibly unloading it on eBay for a bit of profit, but it looks like it's flooded (http://video-games.search.ebay.com/zelda-ds_Systems_W0QQ_trksidZm37QQcatrefZC12QQfromZR40QQ fsooZ2QQfsopZ34QQsacatZ62054QQsbrsrtZd") with 'em now.

wheras i liked the puzzle elements a great deal, I don't enjoy the gimmicky control scheme that you were first to use for no good reason definatly a mood killer (not to mention a screen killer) I love zelda to death but gimmicky control does not make a game good (also see the wii)

your milage may of course vary.

I think the wife picked up one of the Zelda DS bundles for Christmas. I did some research via BFAds.net, and there were several stores selling the bundle. I was in GameCrazy a few days back and saw the DS Brain Age bundle (w/ leather case). Well, it was just a box, as they were sold out, but I'm thinking of trading in my Zelda DS bundle (if I get one) for the Brain Age bundle.
