I'm clearing out a ton of my, well, shall we say, inventory over the next week. I'm thinking of listing that NES Top Loader I got a while back and a fuckton of games in hopes of getting enough money for my computer upgrades.
I was wondering if they still sell well on eBay - especially as part of a lot. All I see are those crappy FC Twin systems. My eBay-fu is weak tonight...
Anyone? Bueller?

It looks like they're going for around $50 or so

You might want to wait a little closer to Christmas, and maybe you could get a little more. Wouldn't hurt to sell it with a couple of games as a bundle.

Hm...
Yeah, you're right. I was planning on putting stuff up tonight, but I think I'll wait until next week to list the big guns, just in case.

throw in a mario game or two castlvania or megaman even the common ones and word your auction all pretty like and you'll get some nice bites
CHEAPER THEN A WII!
PERFECT GIFT FOR THE HOLDAYS blah blah the usual tripe, nothing a collector would bite but perfect for your local soccer mom ;-)
hell i'm half tempted to throw some snes lots to gether as I have about 5-10 snes systems just collecting dust ;-)

I'm trying to get all my pending trades sorted out; a few people have expressed interest in some of the games I have left, but they never reply to PMs, so. :p
If I list the system, I'd list it with at least 20 games...

I dunno Fox. Often times I've seen classic gaming items go for a lot less around the holiday season.

It's a risk I'm willing to take. I really don't want to buy that much stuff, all I want is a new friggin' computer. ;p

Right now I put reserves on stuff that I don't want to sell cheap/let go for cheap..
It's costly but I hate losing money on things like that..
If I was to sell my Toploader I'd put a reserve of $70 on it..If it didn't sell then I'd keep it.
I sold two in the past..at Tax refund time for $65.00 then another near Christmas for $35.00:grrr:..I should of put a reseve on that one.
I pray to do better this Christmas.
Ebays been shitty for me..Even now with a Paypal account only option set I still get atleast 2 non paying bidders for every 6 auctions
It used to be 2 to 10..even people will all positives don't pay/no contact..they don't don't care.
I seem to be getting the real bottom of the barrel buyers now..

yea VGD it seems all the good ebayers have been jaded by bad sellers leaving the crap behind, and ebays game market is weak lately, and i believe it's due to what i just mentioned
