Hey guys,

My brother wants to get into the Turbografx/PC Engine scene and I'm looking to get him a ton of games for christmas. I'm looking for a big lot of common cheap (but fun) games and he is really big on shooters. Loose hu-cards are fine, complete would be a bonus. I'm open to any you have, but the bigger the lot the better. Shoot me your list and how much you're looking to get for them and we can work something out. I also have a ton of NES stuff for trade (loose/complete games, systems, accessories, etc.) and some things for other systems as well. If you have any expensive games I'm open to those as well, but I'd rather get him a ton of inexpensive games. Thanks for the help!!!

Edit: Just looking for a region modded core grafx, core grafx II, and even consider a super grafx, duo, duo r or duo rx depending on the price. Let me know if you have one for sale or trade and what you're interested in as far as trades go.

You might want to take a look at my thread (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1242453), I have a TurboGrafx-16 up for sale right now with a few games to get you started. Games seem to be pretty cheap on eBay right now so this could be a good way to get a system and then look for a game lot elsewhere.

Hey Dave, thanks for the link. He has a TG-16 already, but I'm thinking about buying a region modded Duo for him as well as some games.

dude, just buy a modded system, or get your tg-16 modded, i just got into collecting pcengine/turbo games, despite owning a pcengine for 3 years, found a modded tg-16 at the local indy game store, and have never gone back. it seems that the jap games are WAY more fun or better versions (with the exception of r-type, which the american version has more levels) ebay has a few lots with like 20 or 30 hu cards loose for 70-100 bux. seen a few with gunhead, r-type, like bonk 1&2 and stuff like that. i think thats not a bad deal.

Bump! He has a TG-16 and I even had a Hu-card converter up until yesterday when I sold it on Ebay (one of the purple barney ones). The modded route is the way to go because those converters have all sorts of compatibility issues. I was looking here for Hu-cards before Ebay but the lots seem cheap enough, I now just want a modded system as he can sell the TG-16 if he just gets a cheap core grafx with a region mod. I contacted D-lite a few days back but haven't heard back, if anyone is in close contact with him please let him know I am interested.

If you have an affordable (not necessarily cheap) Jap system like a modded duo or even a super grafx I could definitely spend the extra cash on one of those, but I will gladly settle for just a simple core grafx to get him started. Thanks guys!
