I've got what appears to be an original Japanese edition of the Castlevania: Symphony of the Night soundtrack. It has KICA7760 on its spine and was presumably released by Konami.

I've checked eBay to see what it's worth, but all of the bootlegs there make it hard to tell just what the authentic Japanese release fetches. Anyone have an estimate?

about $25.
If not more. Sound tracks almost always hold their values if it's for a popular game or a rare print. Same goes with anime sound tracks. I'm not saying all do, just those two types generally stick well.

game soundtracks are usually really expensive(authentic ones), but this one has been reprinted and you can still find places that are selling it, $25 is the going rate for it.
for instance if you had Dracula X Rondo of Blood, you could easily count on getting at least $100+

Isabela is pretty much on the money.
NITM/SOTN OST is very common. Rarer CV soundtracks are Dracula X (Rondo), the Dracula Battle CDs, Dracula New Classic, etc.

Around 15-20US$ with spine. He's right, there are so many pirates of this soundtrack that buyers might think this is actually a fake!

The Rondo of Blood one is highly acclaimed... only because it's Rondo of Blood. I hate that.

If it was still new and sealed, then, yeah, $25 would be about right for a retail store, but for a used copy, I'd go more with LuxKiller65's estimate. $15 is pretty normal.
If you're looking to get rid of it, I'd take it off your hands. Despite how cheap it is, I still haven't bothered adding it to my collection.

But obviously, if you find somebody willing to pay more than 25$ for it... don't hesitate!
