Hi Folks,

My name is Adam Trionfo. I've been visiting the Digital Press website for a LONG time. Since at least 1999, I guess. In all that time I've never made a posting. Heck, I've never even been a member.

In one of the DP Guides (seven, I think) I took care of the Astrocade section along with Mike White. We REALLY gave that section an overhaul. I still keep my Astrocade site current. That's Bally Alley. You can check it out at www.ballyalley.com (http://www.ballyalley.com).

How many of you people have an Astrocade?

Adam

Heya, welcome. There's actually an Introduce Yourself (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5) sticky at the top of the Classic forum, this thread may get locked, merged or continue on about Astrocade. Either way there are some fans on here, I've yet to have the privilege to stumble across that system but who knows, one day maybe. It's cool you've got a section in the 7th edition but what's taken so long to just join and lurk. ;)

Once again, welcome aboard and enjoy your stay!

Hi Adam! I have an Astrocade and most most of the carts. You already know me from Bally Alley. I can't believe you've never posted here. There are at least a dozen Astrocade threads where someone has mentioned Bally Alley.

I have one. Only have eight games though. I haven't been able to play it :( . I bought it from Ice when I went to a NAVA. Reason I can't play it is because I don't have any controllers for it.

I have a Bally professional arcade which is the same console under a different name. I'm trying to find an original box for it. Only 3 games in my bally collection. :( If anyone has an extra box for it, please pm me.

I can't play it is because I don't have any controllers for it.

As long as the Astrocade work, then you can make an adapter cable so that you can use 2600 joysticks (but not paddles). This would get you going for most games.

I've got a Professional Arcade, boxed, with 13 carts and the BASIC cart (with the cassette drive socket on it). I still don't have the one game I really wanted for the machine, The Incredible Wizard. I've got to stop goofing off and track that one down.

Me! Me!

I've got one, enough controllers for four player Checkmate, a bunch of carts and a multicart. Very interesting system and your site, Adam has been a big help in helping me find much needed manuals to get me through the games.

Welcome! I am with Toby on the astrocade users club, and own quite a bit. I have 25+ carts, two protos, a white astrocade, and a original modded astrocade. This is a great games site for info and friends.

I have one of the original Bally Home Library Computers C.I.B. plus the original shipping box. Also in the collection is the original Basic Interface unit plus the updated basic cart along with a full compliment of carts in the storage space on the console plus a few extras. I also have an original Bally Arcade but sadly it doesn't work.
