Tomy Japan Reveals New Violin Peripheral:
http://www.gamers.com/news/1353797

Oh, the end is near! I think that this is one of the signs of the apocalypse. I can't wait for the Harmonica and Accordian music game.

This isn't a peripheral for the PS2 or anything, it goes straight into the RCA jacks of your TV. These types of games are common in Japan, as a cheap alternative to a game system especially for the young kids. But, it seems like this unit could be used as a peripheral in a future game.

I want one. And I want those three ladies in the picture to "show me how it's used", if you know what I mean.

<shrug> for $60, if you view it as a learning tool as opposed to a game, that's pretty damn nice. Did you read the features? If they're not exaggerating, it's pretty damned amazing.

it sounds cool. If it wasn't so expensive, I'd buy one.
