Chu Chu Rocket (DC) variants?

While doing some digging on my DC stuff, I realized that I seem to have a strange variant of Chu Chu Rocket. The front cover and disc are the same, but the back cover is different.

The back cover on the copy I got years ago has normal covers: the screenshots and the cat logo are fine. But the other copy I have has blurry photos and a blurry cat cover - by blurry, I mean they're sorta garbled, like what you'd get when you download a JPEG and it stops halfway.

Could someone please check their copies? I'll try to post a few pictures later. I'm hoping I didn't get a reproduced back cover with this copy...

sounds like a bootleg to me, I got a stf3 alpha that was fairly convincing unless you looked really close at the images.

It's just the screen shots and the logo, all the text and other images are perfectly clear, right? My copy is just like that.

The copy on the top is my copy, the bottom one is the extra one. Scissors, guess you and I have the same copy. Phew.

1st picture is the real copy (I have it), 2nd picture looks like a really bad printer printed out the back, probably a bootleg.

The second picture looks real to me. Notice the perforation at the edges. I would bet it's printed on the exact same glossy material as the first, better quality one, too.

My copy of Chu Chu Rocket is the same way, everything looks sharp except the screenshots and the graphic in the upper right corner, which are all blurry. They look like they took some really tiny screenshots and enlarged them, or just used an incredibly low resolution. I remember buying it when it came out and being a little bummed by that. But, it's good to see they did reprint it with the graphics fixed!

I have the "blurry" version too...and it is factory sealed.

So I'd say it is a legit version.

I actually have 2 copies of Chu chu rocket, both are blurry. The 1st copy I bought brand new when it was first released. The 2nd copy I have was found used at a yard sale. I always just assumed they were all blurry since my original brand new copy was that way.

My copy looks pretty sharp. However, I've noticed awhile ago that my copy of Marvel vs Capcom 2 looks pretty blurry on the back. I assumed that was just the way it was, now I'm debating it.

I have a different kind of Chu Chu variant. I have Chu Chu where the disc is just plain. No writing or graphics or anything on the disc. It is hard to tell which way you should play it. I don't know if this is normal but it is an official Sega disc if you look at the inner ring.
