Meh...shows like this often have information wrong or skewed. I know it's little but things like showing games that did not exist on certain consoles (I noticed watching this just now that they showed Phantasy Star 1 while talking about the "power" of 16-bit titles), talking to Trip Hawkins that said that 8-bit consoles were limited only to simplistic games like Donkey Kong (moron), or information from the developers/CEO's point of view.

Higher up company CEO's of the time did not have a grasp on the industry and the likes/dislikes of gamers like they thought they did. Quite often they have interviews with former presidents/CEO's and what they say is just incorrect. It's from the board room/market analysis point of view (perfect example the big mouthed lady always on the Simpson's telling people what "Kid's like nowadays is..."). It's often just crap that simply wasn't true to anyone outside the companies' board room.

I prefer books like "The Ultimate History of Video Games". It offers a much more realistic point of view.

I love that book. It's got a lot of great information. :D

I meant to record this show, but forgot completely. Is it overall decent? I might try to catch a rerun.
