A/V to VGA Converter Box layout

Hey, just seeing if anyone knows if there is a way to use mocky up a converter from AV out to VGA input.. something like a DC VGAbox but any chance of making one home made?

so im sure this just is way to much of a hassle then. I just have tons of older monitors and would love to hook up system to them..

The DC VGA box is a passthrough device only. The DC, when enabled, can generate video signals in the display range capable of VGA monitors. For other devices you need a scan rate converter. OR, you could use RGB cables, some kind of pinout adapter, and a monitor capable of displaying slower scan frequencies (highly uncommon).
