basically when i were a lad me aunt came back from hong kong bringing with her a game called 12 in 1 i plugged it into my sega mega drive (u.k) or genesis as the usa say and wow!!!! 12 games in one cartridge now admittly alex the kid and a volley ball game are fully in another language but the other games like
tetris
battletoads
shove-it
barcelona olympics
tiny toon adventures
columbs
streets of rage
and the nba lakers vs (someone i forget now)
Rambo III
any way the list goes on, but i was wondering if it had any value, i think it still works, well it did like two years ago, it didnt have a box or manuel then and it does not have a box or manuel now... If any one can shine a light on this strange game it would be a help

it has no real value other than the fact it's a pirate...
allthough some people collect pirates/multi-carts thus if you wanted to get a few quid for it im sure somebody would pay it

It's worth about $10-15, only because of the novelty value. It's definitely a pirate, which are technically worthless, but sell for about the above amount, generally. Only very rare and sought-after pirates sell for more (NES examples: Somari, SMB2J cart, Wai Xing Zhan Shi, etc.).

mind you, if Tetris is the Sega Tetris, that's pretty rare.

That's what I was thinking. Google around for screenshots of Sega's little-known version of Tetris and see if it triggers a few memories.

even if it is the sega tetris it's still duplicated on a cheaply made pirated cart

I've never actually seen the Wai Xing Zhan Shi (translation: Alien Soldier) cartridge, let alone found one for sale. I'd love to get a complete copy. It is in Chinese, though I'm not sure if it is Mandarin or Taiwanese. I wonder what kind of packaging this was sold in, if any. I tend to imagine that the "pirate originals" were better packaged than the often loose regular pirate carts, not that there's any real info on my part to back that up.

Most pirate carts are sold as just a single cartridge, where others have little cardobard outer boxes with a window that may or may not have a very thin plastic window, others have almost identical boxes to thier licenced version (usually when they are trying to fool people into thinking its an original) but of course we are talking about pirates so any kind of packaging is possible.
