PSP question...

sorry if this has been asked before...

but i havent really followed the PSP that much since it has been out, now i may be getting one for christmas and i would like to know if you can connect your PSP somehow to the TV so you can play the games on a bigger screen. Or if you can connect it to the PS3, then the PS3 will take it to the TV. kind of like how you could do with the Gameboy on the SNES...but modernized.

With Custom Firmware you can plugin PSP Slim to TV and display games on TV. I'm not sure about the Official Firmware.

The Slim PSP released this year can show games on the TV screen. You need to get either the component cable for this to work -- it outputs in 480P mode, so an old TV won't work, but one that can handle progressive DVD players over the YCrCb/Component inputs should be fine.

well i believe i will be getting the star wars special edition slim PSP...so you are saying all i need is component cables for the PSP for this to work? sounds easy enough
