I have NO luck with these, I just want one that works! For months I've been trying to get a store demo going to "explain" the Doki Doki Panic and "true" Mario 2 story (I have both disks) but damned if I can find a drive that works properly.

If you've got one that you can part wirth, please email or PM me, thanks!

The one you have at the store doesn't work? I can bring mine by next time.

I'm not sure which one you saw. I had two shipped to me from an employee while he was in Japan. One didn't spin at all, the other was disk read errors every time. Then I got one on eBay with a Twin Famicom, neither of which spins at all. I was starting to think I just don't know what I'm doing but I had a regular customer bring a few disks that work fine for him and try my systems out and they ALL suck.

So yes please, if you think of it bring it with you to the next NAVA or whenever you're in the area again. In the meantime I'm going to continue hunting, couldn't hurt to have two. Thanks!

how much you wanna spend? and also, the ones that don't spin, bad motors or belts?
cause if belts, just let me know, it's been like two years, but i think i can still get belts. my homemade copier and my regular player still playing fine after belt swap. i'd MAYBE be willing to trade my complete in box disk system COMPLETE with manga manuals and everything 4 your twin only if the disk drive is the only prob. o yea, and if its the ugly red one too! lol if you do figure out it's just the belts let me know

I just looked through my garage for the system I could SWEAR I still had, with a brand new belt that I used maybe four times, but it appears to be gone.

A laptop and my DS Lite are also gone! It appears I was robbed by my movers. Hooray.

that utterly sux ballz, they must have been hip retro gamers to steal the disk system though.... or the fact that it said nintendo on it..... still, that sux

Bumpity! Found the Disk System in my mom's garage (DS and laptop are definitely gone forever, though). Joe, do you still need this? It's in the box, with the RAM expansion, but I don't think there's any paperwork.

I'd be interested if Joe doesn't need it.

Joe, did you try adjusting the motor speed? It is easy and may need to be done even if the belt is replaced.
