Hey I was wondering if anyone here had oreder any preowned games from PlayAsia, and if so, what kind of condition would you expect their games to be in? I'm interested in some PSone titles but don't know if I'd be better shopping elsewhere or waiting for the games to pop up on Ebay. Thanks for your help.

I'll vouch for Play Asia. I have bought used imports from them several times over the years, and they have all been in great condition. They are a little pricey, but I think they know their audience and make sure that the games they pick are in good enough condition to justify what they are charging (and not get nasty complaints from collectors).

The Japanese in general keep their games in very good condition, and the used games I've gotten from PA have been in excellent condition.

In general, I've been pretty happy with most of the stuff I've bought from Japan. But as someone who shops on Yahoo Japan a lot, I can assure you that you will see games in every possible sorry condition there that you would in any other auction site anywhere else in the world.
And I would certainly encourage you to price match PlayAsia against Ebay!

So far with me and Playasia's pre-owned, I've had better luck with newer games than older games. As far as XII Stag for PS2, everything came mint, but Poppohito Hebreke for Saturn had a sun-faded cover on the manual. I just try not to look at the cover before I play it.

I've only bought one used game from them: Sky Target for Saturn. It was in very nice shape, and even had the spine card. As for new stuff, I've made plenty of orders.

I little note on play asia .
they tend to sale Very high price , And they are declared as a ''buisness'' to post office
so every now & then expect to Pay some customs fee.....
I would say if you REALLY can't find it eleswhere buy it there, if you can avoid them Do it:)

Overpriced, but condition is usually good. Only complaint I've had is that they physically cut off the price tag when they pull the game off the shelf, often damaging the box. Not a big deal for a cd or Megadrive game since you can just swap out the case. Different story alltogether for SFC games though. :(

I just got the Rumble Fish from them and it came in perfect condition. It was a used game. I recommend them highly.
