I have been wanting to start collecting the vintage game systems, and I have been doing my research lately to start hammering my checklist off, and I was wondering the worth and rarity of a like new (box has some shelf damage) light rifle? thanks!

That figure of $100 for a loose rifle is a bit high though. You can probably score a boxed one for $75-$100 (or less).

Ive seen unboxed ones go for as little as 25 shipped on e-bay. I have also seen boxed ones go for as little as 35 plus shipping. The good condition boxed ones will fetch 60-70 and a mint boxed rifle can hit the 100's.

I didn't know loose ones could be had so cheap. I want one just so I can mount it on the wall.

How awesome would a game room with knotty pine walls, 'finds' mounted on plaques on the wall, a SMB/DH chair, a CRT with a recorded fireplace 'burning', and of course, this rifle mounted over the door be????

If there's one thing I've learned collecting, it's that almost anything can be had cheaply if you are patient enough. ;)
