Good cleaner for sticky keyboard?

So a friend spilled something on my laptop and I can spray it with cleaner but it gets sticky again. Is there a good way without taking it apart to clean the sticky keys?

Look into disassembling the bezel that holds the keyboard pad in place, and removing the keyboard, it should be a single piece connected to the motherboard by a very thin ribbon cable. Note that these connections are fragile, do not make sharp bends or twists.

Once you have the keyboard piece out you can try running warm water over its face and let it dry out for a day before you replace it. This is what you want to do in order to get rid of spilled soda, residue, whatever, without simply displacing it into the rest of the laptop.

You could always pop each key out and clean it individually but it will take some time. If your laptops keyboard can be taken apart, take the top half off and wash it with water and soap. The top half will have no electronics, just the keys and upper cover. This only works if the keyboard can be taken apart like mine.
