It's going to be tough finding either title for $130. I just flipped a copy of PDS in good condition for $150. Good luck

Yeah, lowballing and Christmas just don't mix.

I wouldn't call it lowballing. He just wants a top-tier game for a low end price. $20 less than what RCM sold one for isn't that much of a difference, and he isn't PMing people who are selling them for $200 with offers of $130. I commend him if he has the patience to wait and get one for the price he wants, especially since he is acting mature about it.
He does need to take it a little easy with the bumps though.
Poofta!

i always thought game prices drop around christmas cause everyone is scrapping around for some extra cash... wouldnt this be the best time to pick up the less-than-mainstream stuff on the low?
good luck btw.

hmm, recently I got some great inflated sales on my classic stuff, though I guess it varies for everyone.

I think the best time is after christmas when bids drop off on ebay. I scored a dragon force for 25 bucks and a albert odessey for 8 bucks a few yrs back.

Getting PDS for $130 is possible. About 2 years ago I got a complete copy in good condition for $120 shipped from a DP member, patience is key.

Hey, if he gets them for those prices, great. No criticisms at all. I just don't think it's going to happen at this time of year - they are both going for closer to $200 right now on the 'bay. But like I said - come January or February, this kind of proposition will seem a lot more enticing.
I hope you get them though, they are great games, and once I had to wait patiently for years to try and find at a reasonable price. So with that, free bump!
