hello everyone. This is a great site I found and I hope someone can help me get my old CV working again. I am not getting anything on the TV when I switch it on. I am using a new radio shack RF TV/Game switch. The system worked last year with this switch but the video and audio strength was about 60%. Now I don't get anything and I used a multimeter to check the 4 wires on the inside of the unit and this is the results I got:
Black -.12
Red -.21
Blue -5.25
White +4.75
Is this my problem? Shouldnt the red wire have at least 12VDC on it? What else can I check here? I really want to play this thing again but I dont want to spend a boat load of money to repair it. I am pretty handy in fixing things if I know where to look.
On a side note, how dificult is it to clean and/or replace the on/off switch? Can I buy a better one and install it without serious modifications?
