I just got one of these and don't know how to hook it up in the USA, No matter how I hook it up to my TV I get nothing more than static interference and only slightly at that. Will it not work at all without a pal TV set? I also want to know the polarity of the Power supply, it's 11v 500ma but it doesn't list polarity. If anyone knows how to use this thing your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Don't British electronics use 220 volts instead of the US standard 110? I always remember seeing those switches on the bottom of radios and cassette players that have that little arrow switch on the bottom with '110' and '220' on them. The Amstrad might require a different power than you're giving it. I guess you'll have to buy some kind of step-up type device to use European electronics over on this side of the pond.

I have an 11.5v us power supply the unit uses 11v, it powers up but it still doesn't show anything on tv at all.
