This is an important update for the Tron Guy Picture Cart
Tron Guy Picture Cartridge
Gray Games (c)2008
Created by Charles F. Gray
Programmed by Snailsoft
Re-Programmed by Michael Rideout
The ChronoColour (TM) display technology was developed for the Atari
2600 by Andrew Davie.
Board Design: Armin Vogl
Cartridge Assembly: 8-Bit Classics
Details: Limited Run of 15
Signed, Numbered, and Dated
--The Tron Guy Picture Cart will be sent to all buyers in January.
--The timing issue has been fixed, so the rotation of each image has been slowed down very much like a screensaver, slideshow, or Kodak picture CD would be. I am very pleased.
--The 3 Prototypes that were released to private collectors are now considered W.I.P. Prototypes as a lot of the code has been rewritten for this release due to timing and other changes. [EPROM Board - This is basically a prototype without a case. Inside every prototype is some kind of board with EPROMs stuck on it (either socketed or soldered). Not every prototype had a nice case, some exist as EPROM boards only.].
--The limited run has been reduced from 30 to 15 as the other 15 3E boards are being used for another release available in February that will be simply amazing. [No more details will be released]
--As this Cartridge uses 3E technology on custom designed and made 3E boards, this will be the only release on The Tron Guy Picture Cart. The boards are too expensive to make at such small quantities. 3F boards are no longer made and heaven't been for a long time. I had to get these 3E boards, which are compatable with 3F technology specifically designed and made for this project.
--There is only 1 cart left: 14 of 15. Pm if interested. I accept Paypal. Price includes shipping.
This is the only run of The TGPC, so once they are all sold, they are gone forever
