Hello, everyone.

As of December 14, 2007, the OlderGames name and internet domain (www.oldergames.com (http://www.oldergames.com/)) have been acquired by Super Fighter Team. The individuals formerly doing business as OlderGames have recently ceased their activities and therefore will no longer be operating under this name. As we at Super Fighter Team have chosen not to acquire their back catalog of software, we will not be offering any of the OlderGames-branded products for sale, nor will we be available to offer customer service or support for their products. We thank you for your attention and look forward to continuing to offer you the highest quality in brand-new videogames for your favorite classic consoles.

Congratulations! I hope make some rad 3do and sega cd games that are actually pressed and not CD-Rs. I know good places to get CD's pressed really cheap if you need help with that let me know. You need to get about a thousand at a time usually you get 1000-1100 with over runs. but those extras could be used for reviews and it is under $2000 with everything fully packaged! I still need to get Beggar Prince

Congratulations!

Thanks.

As I had said in the previous post:

"As we at Super Fighter Team have chosen not to acquire their back catalog of software, we will not be offering any of the OlderGames-branded products for sale, nor will we be available to offer customer service or support for their products."

At this time, we have no interest to produce games for CD-based systems; we intend to continue our focus on cartridge-based games.

We're still taking orders; we'll welcome yours at any time.

That's interesting. I was under the impression that Super Fighter was to be ported to multiple CD-based systems. I suppose those plans have been cancelled?

That is great, congrats Brandon, the way SFT is expanding, I truly hope that SFT grows leaps and bounds, keep up the good work man! Let me know when Zaku is available for preorders, I will be on first line. :)

I wonder if they sold all their copies of "Frog Feast"? ;P

Those plans were cancelled several years ago. At the time (2001?), OlderGames was interested in licensing Super Fighter and paying to produce and publish it for several CD-based consoles. Obviously it didn't happen.

Thanks, I appreciate that - and I'll certainly let all Zaku fans know when the game is ready.

Out of curiousity, what was the motivation in acquiring the OlderGames.com name?

Congratulations on the domain purchase. I hadn’t heard of Zaku yet but you can be sure I’m going to order a copy when it’s available. Although those pics make it look suspiciously similar to Air Zonk. Regardless though, what could I want more than an Air zonk clone on my beloved Lynx.

I really respect the Super Fighter Team. You guys are actually doing what I always dreamt of and if Beggar Prince was any indication to the care and passion that the SFT has then you can expect me to buy all you future games. Especially if they tend to be for Sega, Atari, or NEC Systems ;)

To acquire the domain name. Now it will be given the chance to be a fount of positivity and the stuff of which dreams are made.

Air Zonk is one of the developer's inspirations. However, Zaku is a 100% new and original game, right down to the graphics, level design and et cetera. I am very excited about this project.

Thank-you.

As a gamer and former collector, I've always had very high standards as to what videogames impressed me. Under my direction, Super Fighter Team only produces and publishes the type of software that would have made me stand up and say, "Wow", back when the classic consoles were still on the market.

It gives me a bigger "Wow" today now that the consoles are no longer supported by their developers. ;)

Now I wonder, what will happen with their back catalog of software? I think it's rather sad that you bought their domain and name only to announce that you're not going to continue with what they did. So the truth is, OlderGames is no more.

OlderGames' back catalog of software did not interest me for a number of reasons:

* Super Fighter Team does not wish to focus on CD-based consoles at this time. Most of their back catalog consisted of CD-based games.

* Not everything in their back catalog was properly licensed. Super Fighter Team only releases product for which we have full legal support of all parties involved.

* I did not agree with the overall quality of their products, for example:
- unfinished or otherwise incomplete games
- moderate amusements that would be more suited to freeware releases than commercial
- games which required console modification to run

I will let someone else decide whether or not they wish to handle such product. Instead, I will continue to focus on delivering only the highest quality product for everyone.

Shortly before we acquired the oldergames.com website, it had been redirected to a MySpace profile page. Please, don't blame me for dropping support for the OlderGames back catalog; that support was dropped weeks before, by the owners of the product themselves.

Whatever. OlderGames sold crap. I'm more surprised that Super Fighter was interested in being associated with the name at all.
