Today I got two new games that I won at ebay!
The games are Excitebike and Zelda 2.
I tried Excitebike and the game started, but blinked (the game is US and I have a PAL NES)
I tried Zelda and same thing happened (this is also US version); game started but blinked. But this one also had really glitchy graphics! See pics...

I modded my NES. The blinking stopped for both games, but Zelda 2 still looked like before the mod.

Both games are in mint condition and the connectors show no sign of usage what so ever.

Has the US version of Zelda 2 been confirmed to work on PAL NES consoles? It might just be incompatible.

I always had problems playing ntsc nes games on my pal nes even after disabling the lockout chip.. I think the problem is that the pal nes is 50hz and the ntsc nes 60hz? Correct me if im wrong lol.

I was hoping that someone would knew if it was compatible or not :/
The character and map area are ok, but as you can see the lifebar and the other stuff if messed up... But is it safe to say that it's the NES that is the problem and not the cart?
I have to leave feedback for this at Ebay and I don't know if I should mention this? It said in the description that it was tested and worked great.

Im sure its not the game! You cant leave bad feedback if you play a game on a system its not suppose to be played in unless you test it in a regular console. Thats IMO.

You know those long disclaimers some of us put in our auctions about how the games only work with certain region consoles and how we don't sell overseas and so forth? This is the reason, dips that don't know what they're buying.

I would not leave negative feedback over this. It's probably your console. Never ever leave negative feedback unless resolving a problem though other means doesn't work. Especially when you're using a game in a way it's not been designed to work.
