Forward your trade lists!

Anyone interested in trading specific games for a very rare Nintendo World Championship controller from 1990 email me your tradelist to my address, bridgeboy13@hotmail.com

The controller is in excellent condition and works well. The original thread for this is here:

http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=110100

I've restored the orange d-pad and yellow buttons with the standard black and red.

I've got great feedback (check the link in my sig), and the only stipulation is that you pay for your own shipping. I'll pay for my shipping from my end.

I'm currently trading for popular games. My friend who owns the controller owns an indie game business here in Vancouver is interested in adding to his stock.

Will be accepting games in good, clean condition (good to excellent condition, a name in felt pen, a rental sticker is alright), and at Digitpress guide value.
Loose games are fine. Multiple copies of certain titles are alright.

Am looking for at least 300$ in Digitpress Guide trade value for the controller.

NES:
Super Mario 2,3
Tetris
Contra
Punchout
Bubble Bobble

SNES:
Super Mario All-Stars
Super Mario Kart
Donkey Kong Countrys
Final Fantasy 3
Zelda LttP

N64
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Mario Party 1,2,3
Super Mario Kart
Zelda

Feel free to forward your lists, even if you are just interested in the controller and don't have much on this sample list, I'd love to see what you have :)

Please message me at bridgeboy13@hotmail.com with the header:

I'll be out of the country for the next 2 weeks, but will read every email that is sent to me when I can find a computer, may even be able to reply to some of them as well.
Any trade that may come from this won't be completed until January when I return, to let you know.

Huh? Why?

Huh? Why?

Because I'm 99% positive that the Orange and Yellow didn't come with the controller originally, because I want to circumnavigate those inevitable questions about them.
And lastly cuz it looks weird.

I can include them with the controller, the new owner can put them back if they want :)

I see...fair enough. :)

Probably a good idea.

Hey man I dont mean to be a jerk but dp guide value? some games thats ok for but like mario 2 and 3 I think dp guide value is 2 dollars and they can go around 20+ on ebay. So I think to be fair you should offer a better trade value on some games. Obviously your buddy wants these for resale and Obviously he isnt gonna give 20 each but i believe 5-8 each is fair. Just a thought and I think youd get alot more people willing to trade. bout 6 months ago I had a huge stock of mario 2, 3 and at 5-8 each I would of definately traded for this FUCKING AMAZING CONTROLLER!

Where are the "values" of these carts posted? I only see the rarity guide posted. And my old DP guide is ancient and way out of date.
So what/where are the prices you wish to go by?

I believe he's speaking of the values found at the top right of the page (http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=6065) for Super Mario Bros. 2 is $1 Loose. So a complete copy is more than $1 but it's all open to interpretation. SMB 2 and 3 do go for more than $3 on a normal basis but in this case you may want to discuss it with the seller.

I didn't look up those 2 particular games, that's pretty low really.
Message me if you've got Mario 2's and 3's and are interested in making a trade, we'll work it out.

Have tried communicating several of the people interested in trades, no replies yet.

Does no one want a crack at a piece of Nintendo history?

I would have been interested if it was player #1. Too bad.

Ok, maybe not.

I offer $225 cash for it... the reason it has not moved yet is you want $300 in trade in popular games that you know the DP guide undervalues... if you had said $300 in trade in ebay value of the games listed, you definitely would have moved it by now.

raregamer.....I see what your saying....if you just use the guide...instead of getting a true 300 dollars in trade, he'll probably end up with much more in trade than 300 bucks.....probably why the $225.00 isn't being accepted....I get it...*_*

my buddy said he sent a big package to this guy one day a year ago. 80 pounds in 2 boxes to canada. this guy didn't pay the customs somehow by using a bounced check of some sort, which he still doesn't understand to this day how he didnt pay. but, he has bill collectors from fedex on him over $86 in customs fees this guy didnt pay.

Fedex terms say if they can't locate the receiver then the shipper is responsible. please beware.

Actually, I just checked this thread for the first time in a while, I've been communicating with people via PM and email. Didn't know that there was cash on the table :) PM and email is the best way to get ahold of me.

I appreciate the cash offers, but the money would just go into buying games, a trade has priority right now.

Another DP member and I are starting the groundwork for a deal, and I'll definitely let people know if it works out or not.
I think that the people that have commented on the low guide value are right, some of the games are valued to low. I'll adjust whichever games should be priced higher in this trade.

I didn't know that that's what happened! (There weren't any 'Bounced Checks' involved btw) I moved shortly after getting that package and I never heard from buddy that I traded with again (or fedex). Tell him to get ahold of me and we'll work it out.
