Greetings DP members,

I'm interested in selling my entire classic gaming collection, yet I'm unsure as to what it's actually worth. I joined this forum to be able to make an educated assessment when the time comes. I've been looking at eBay and some other places as well.

Please bear in mind that I live in Germany. I'm not quite sure which perspective most of you are going to give me. I'm guessing most people here are Americans, so I'll probably get a representation of the American market. If it isn't too much to ask, maybe I could get an estimate for both American and European Markets. Heck, maybe there are quite a lot of European collector's here as well. I won't have any problems selling worldwide when the time comes.

Please click on my signature if you wish to know who I am and why I'm selling this. Anyway, here's the list. I'm grateful for any information:

You can use the "Online Rarity Guide" on this site to get a general idea. It all depends on the condition of each item obviously.

You have a couple of uncommon stuff but most of it is quite run of the mill, I would not expect a huge amount from this lot.

I have used the online guide. Most items have no prices whatsoever. Thanks for the great input Cambot and garage. Nintendo, which rare items are you implying? People, I'm not looking to sell now, but sometime during 2008. I don't care if I have to make 100 eBay auctions for them too. Or just sell everything for one cheap price. I'd do like some constructive help though; and no "eleventeen dollerz/nothing" comments.

I'm sincere in my wish and I don't expect for every item to be priced but if some of you would like to help me out and name just some prices, I'd be very grateful.

For the whole lot, about $1817.18

You may think your lot is worth more, but people dont shell out big bucks
for these types of things...Mmmkay

Nice response considering you post plenty of "what's it worth" threads.

Alex_ntsc:
bust3dstr8 gave a good estimate and is mainly due to have at least a manual with most games. You may want to post pictures of the sealed games so we have good estimates on their condition or confirm "factory" status.

Thanks bust3dstr8 and cyberfluxor. Now I have something to work with. As for pictures, I'll post them sometime after Christmas/New Year's. My whole family and some relatives of my wife have crunched themselves into our home. My priority is to survive this chaos until January. I can post some more then.

Most of my games are complete. When I write "at least instruction manual," I mean that the game is boxed with its own manual but that it also has maps, Nintendo-Power cards, posters, etc as well. I think I may have worded that wrong.

I'll go ahead and edit the list above. Happy holidays people!

Oh, sounds good. One Christmas gift I'm doing for my father is cleaning the outside garage so there's a ton of stuff in my room at the moment making is nearly impossible to get stuff done until the junk makes it to the attic.
