View Full Version : Sega CDX not turning on

after trying to connect a double pro fighter (snes/genesis back up machine), my Sega CDX doesn't turn on. Short of getting another (which I really don't want to do) or a sega genesis/sega CD (too large), any way I can get this fixed?

I'd check the fuse inside and either replace it or short it.

you can also tried, this, mine would turn on but freeze up, this fixed my problem. May want to try it. http://www.whipassgaming.com/genesisreviews/32xrepairguide.html

Sorry if this is a super common fix idea but make sure your using the correct power cord. I used one that was for another sega system, however the CDX still turned on, just a blurred image of black lines. I then found the correct plug and now works great. Good luck with the fix
