Ive acquired some japanese laserdiscs that appear to contain videos of arcade games being played to completion - Ghouls N Ghosts, Space Harrier etc. These discs are from the 80's, are they collectable? If so, what price do they fetch? Thanks

They certainly sound neat! Any chance you could do some scans of the packaging?

Yes they are but you should consider that in Japan Laser Discs and VCD was common from the start of production.

Laser Discs was used all the into the late 2000 uptill DVD was widespread.
They are easy to damage but video is superior to DVD.

In terms of having them on recordings then yes. I bet some geyser in Japan who has kids or even grand kids would laugh at these videos.

These have value but not to USA buyers.

Sorry for the delay, Ive uploaded pictures of three of them. Any idea of the value? I have found a site that lists the street fighter laserdisc as being from a box set of 2 discs. If I remember rightly it valued the boxset $100-$400
